Up until May 2011, Ruth was the Knowledge and Adoption Coordinator for TRaCK based at Griffith University in Brisbane.
Ruth's academic background is in aquatic ecology. After spending over 10 years doing research for state and federal agencies, she realised her key interest was in the adoption of science. Since that time she has worked in a range of contexts from helping instigate participatory fisheries management at a community level to working as a knowledge broker with the CRC for Freshwater Ecology.
The Knowledge & Adoption team play a key role in linking researchers with end-users and the public.
